Richard writes : Small loch good for practicing turns but only short runs. Local authority run RYA recognised teaching. Safety cover, showers, parking, food. Small rigging area on grass.

Directions :

From the West, Glasgow & Glasgow Airport (M8)...
Travel along the M8 signed Edinburgh , Stirling and Carlisle . Take the cut-off for the M74 ( Carlisle ).
Travel south on the M74 passing Bothwell Services.
Take the first exit after the Service Station which is the A725 (signposted Coatbridge/East Kilbride/Bellshill) and leads on to the Raith Interchange. Stay in the middle lane and signs onto the East Kilbride Expressway (A725), which leads straight to East Kilbride.

From the East & Edinburgh (M8)...
Follow the M8/A8 signs towards Glasgow until slip road at junction with A725 (the Shawhead Flyover signed for Coatbridge/East Kilbride/Bellshill). Continue on A725 to the Raith Interchange roundabout, and follow signs onto the East Kilbride Expressway (A725), which leads straight to East Kilbride .

From the South (M74)...
Travelling north exit the M74 at junction 5 signposted for East Kilbride . You will come directly to a roundabout (Raith Interchange) where you take the turn-off for the A725 to East Kilbride .

From Ayrshire...
Follow the M77 north to the Eaglesham Moor Road . Turn right and follow the signs for East Kilbride. Follow this road across the Fenwick Moor and into the village of Eaglesham. Take the right fork at the top of the hill entering Eaglesham and continue down the hill and straight through the traffic lights at the bottom of the hill. Continue straight on through Jackton and straight through roundabout at the Strathclyde Police College in Jackton.

From Busby/ Clarkston / Paisley...
Follow A726 through Clarkston and Busby towards East Kilbride and onto dual carriageway , on entering East Kilbride travel over the flyover on right (East Kilbride Hilton Hotel on left). At first roundabout (MacDonalds on right). Turn left.
